Clinic Concierge was founded in 2021 with a shared vision to make healthcare more convenient, personal, and patient-centered. After recognizing the need for a better healthcare experience for busy families, founders Lauren and Shayla combined their complementary strengths to build a company focused on delivering exceptional care wherever patients need it.
Lauren is passionate about building meaningful relationships and connecting with the communities we serve. Her ability to cultivate partnerships and create authentic connections has helped establish Clinic Concierge as a trusted healthcare resource for thousands of families.
Shayla is passionate about transforming ideas into action, developing the operational strategies, clinical excellence, and scalable systems that support Clinic Concierge’s continued growth. She is focused on building a company that delivers exceptional care with consistency, efficiency, and excellence.
Together, their complementary leadership has created a company that blends genuine relationships with exceptional execution.
Today, Clinic Concierge is powered by a team of experienced Family Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants providing in-home and in-office care for the whole family. From sick visits and IV therapy to weight loss, aesthetics, wellness services, and preventive care, we make accessing healthcare simple and convenient.
As a direct-pay practice with no membership fees, we’re available seven days a week throughout Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin, and Houston—bringing elevated healthcare directly to you.
Shayla Dunlap is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. She grew up in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Baylor University. Prior to her nursing degree, she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Psychology from Dallas Baptist University. After College, Shayla worked in Ortho-Trauma and Medical-Surgical at Baylor University Medical Center in Downtown Dallas. Shayla was also the school nurse at Highland Park High School for over 4 years. Shayla left Highland Park to finish her family nurse practitioner degree, although you may still see her filling in for some of the nurses from time to time at any of the schools in Highland Park Independent School District. During the recent Pandemic, Shayla worked for COVID Concierge 214, which was founded by Lauren Payne. Shayla has been certified as a UT Southwestern Stop the Bleed trainer, Red Cross CPR instructor and certified in Cosmetic Injections (Botox, Dysport and Dermal Fillers). A fun fact about Shayla is that she skipped the 11th grade in High School and graduated an entire year early and was awarded with the Early High School Graduation Scholarship Awardee 2009. Shayla is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, Golden Key International Honor Society and National Society of Academic Excellence (NSOAE). For fun, Shayla enjoys going to the lake with her husband, her children Maverick and Collins.
Lauren Payne is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. Lauren graduated from Texas Christian University (TCU) with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Lauren pursued her family nurse practitioner degree from Simmons University. She believes in a holistic approach to nutrition and wellness, treating the entire patient. She has previous experience in Family Medicine, Vascular and Interventional, Operating room, Plastic Surgery and Fertility. Lauren has medical experience in different cities, states and even countries, including Texas, California, Missouri, Colorado and even Peru. During the pandemic, Lauren founded her own company known as COVID Concierge 214 specializing in concierge COVID testing where she put together a team of nurses and nurse practitioners to provide concierge services in the Park Cities. Lauren received an Academic Scholarship from TCU. For fun, Lauren enjoys running with her neighborhood run group, biking or playing tennis with her husband John or playing outside with her beautiful three children.
At the heart of Clinic Concierge is Kara Moreno, a seasoned healthcare leader with a deep passion for service, personalization, and excellence. With over 20 years of experience in healthcare operations, Kara brings both strategic insight and a servant leadership style to her role as CEO—guiding the Clinic Concierge team to deliver exceptional, elevated experiences in home health and wellness.
Kara began her career in the dental field, where she quickly earned recognition for her ability to grow multi-site operations while maintaining an unwavering commitment to care quality. From overseeing practices across 15 states to serving as Chief Operating Officer for a national dental group, her focus has always been on building empowered teams, refining patient journeys, and scaling services without sacrificing the personal touch.
Today, Kara leads Clinic Concierge with the same dedication, channeling her expertise into creating luxurious, customized healthcare experiences that meet clients where they are—literally and emotionally. She believes deeply in the power of thoughtful details, warm human connection, and treating each patient as unique and valued.
As a proud Texan based in Austin, Kara enjoys life outside of work surrounded by family, gardening in the Hill Country, or cheering on her favorite football teams—the Texas Longhorns and the Houston Texans. She’s passionate about nurturing joy, beauty, and comfort in every space she touches, from her home to the homes of the clients Clinic Concierge is honored to serve.

Dr. Kraut, an Emergency Medicine physician based in Plano, TX, graduated with honors in nutritional sciences from UT Austin before attending medical school at UT Health San Antonio. During her time there, she led various organizations and community health programs. Following medical school, she completed her residency at UT Southwestern, where she chaired the social media/outreach team and was recognized with an award for clinical excellence and performance. Dr. Kraut currently serves as an emergency medicine attending in the DFW community.
